Norfolk Care Careers events terms and conditions
Overview
All our online and in-person events and workshops are free of charge unless otherwise stated.
Our online workshops are led by our experienced External Workforce Advisors from Norfolk Care Careers.
Who can attend our events
Our events and workshops are available to providers, leaders, managers and HR staff working in Adult Social Care in Norfolk or supporting those who live in Norfolk.
From time to time, we also offer events for jobseekers, existing care professionals, and awareness days that are open to the general public. Where applicable, this will be clearly stated in the event details.
We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw attendance where an individual does not meet the eligibility criteria for a specific event or where information provided during registration is inaccurate or misleading.
If you cannot attend on the day of the event
If you are unable to attend an event, we ask that you notify our team as soon as possible.
If you hold an account on the Norfolk Care Careers website, you can manage your booking directly through your account. If you do not have an account, you can manage your booking using the link provided in your confirmation email or by contacting us at [email protected]
Attending with colleagues or additional participants
If you plan to attend an event with a colleague or other eligible participants, each person must book their own place through our events page to secure attendance.
Technical issues
If you experience technical difficulties on the day of an online event, please contact our team as soon as possible at [email protected] and we will do our best to assist you.
In the rare event that you are unable to join, we will offer to book you onto the next available session.
Changes or cancellations to events
Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, we may need to reschedule or cancel an event. If this occurs, we will inform you as soon as possible. Where applicable, you will be automatically booked onto the rescheduled event.
While we make every reasonable effort to deliver our online and in-person events as planned, we cannot accept responsibility for technical issues outside of our control, including internet connectivity problems, platform outages, or individual device failures.
We will, where possible, offer alternative dates or sessions in such circumstances.
Communication after the event
Following your attendance, we may contact you to request feedback and to share materials related to the event.
Data protection and privacy
When registering for and attending our events, we will collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
