Description
We're seeking a caring and compassionate individual with good experience in an office environment, an individual who enjoys interacting with residents, relatives and staff. Candidates must be warm and friendly, with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a genuine passion for their work.
The post is Monday to Friday (excludes Bank Holidays) Hours are: 09:00 to 17:00
Principal responsibilities:
Assist the Care Home Manager in all aspects of the home's administration.
Assist the Care Home Manager with Friends of the Home and arranging Activities/Entertainment
Stock Control and the ordering of food, cleaning and some care supplies.
Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries.
Present a professional and caring first contact for all those who visit or telephone the Care Home
Providing a focal point for visitors, promoting a positive image.
Dealing with invoices, petty cash and resident funds, ensuring records are accurate and maintained.
Support with budgets.
Dealing with recruitment and on-boarding of staff.
Providing general clerical support including taking minutes of meetings, general typing and filing.
Ensuring confidentiality is always maintained.
Maintain stationary requirements.

Effective Communicator - Written and Verbal
Friendly, confident and well presented
Ability to prioritise and organise
Genuine interest in working within an administrative role
An appreciation for need for confidentiality
Good numerical and word processing skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of email systems specifically outlook
Good attention to detail
Ability to work on own initiative
Team Player
Experience in a similar role
Professional Development via NVQ and other training opportunities are available.
Experience in a similar role is essential.
