The Virtual Dementia Tour is a powerful, interactive experience designed to give you deeper insight into what life can be like for people living with dementia.  By stepping into their world, you'll gain greater understanding and practical empathy to support those you care for.

We have over 800 fully-funded training places available to support the professional development of the adult social care workforce across Norfolk.  If you work in an adult social care setting in Norfolk and Waveney, you're welcome to join this course.

Each session has 16 places available. Please note that each provider may book a maximum of two spaces per course across all locations. It is important that bookings are coordinated within your organisation to avoid duplication. If you are interested in additional places, do let us know and we will do our best to accommodate this.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes before your session start time to enable a prompt start. The experience is fully facilitated, and no preparation is required.

  • The course is immersive and can feel intense. If you have any accessibility needs or concerns about sensory experiences, please let us know when booking. We will connect you with the training provider in advance.

  • You will receive a confirmation e-mail to confirm your booking(s). If you need to amend or cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible so we can reallocate your place.

  • These sessions are fully-funded for the Norfolk adult social care workforce by Norfolk County Council.
