Welcome to Point House - Your Home with Heart Nestled within a graceful Georgian building, Point House first welcomed People in 1980 with a simple, loving purpose: to provide care and companionship for three adults with learning disabilities. By 1985, our doors expanded to offer support to more individuals—and today, we're proud to be home to up to 22 adults, each wonderfully unique and valued. As a family-run care home, we believe in creating more than just support—we strive to nurture a genuine, loving home environment. We take time to connect with each person, understanding their strengths, dreams, and needs, and crafting care that honours who they are. Through the years, we've embraced changes in health and safety, legislation, and best practices—but one thing remains unchanged: our commitment to offering a warm, welcoming, and homely haven where everyone truly belongs. At Point House, every person plays a role in the rhythm of our household. You'll find people choosing their own routines, helping out with everyday tasks like laundry or tidying their rooms, and joining in conversations about daily activities. It's all about building independence, confidence, and a sense of belonging—because this is their home, and every voice matters. We cherish the individuality of each person. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all care—instead, we honour each person's differing needs, empowering them to flourish in ways that feel right for them.
