Description
Support work isn't just making cups of tea and personal care. It is about enhancing the lives for people living with emotional, physical and sometimes complex disabilities. At Insignia Healthcare Group we believe that everyone has the right to live a fulfilling life and reach their full potential. Although a good cup of tea does go a long way!!
We are looking for someone to support a female adult in her 30's with her care requirements as well as her overall health and well being. She has complex care requirements including Oxygen, NIV, Catheter and specialised diet regime. Carers are expected to motivate and support her to live as independently as possible and support with daily activities. Her shifts are 12hrs (8-8) and she lives at home with her partner on a small farmstead near Watton. She has a wheelchair accessible vehicle and enjoys being in the community, so supporting staff will need to have a minimum of 2 years driving experience for insurance purposes and feel comfortable to drive this vehicle and support her accessing social or medical appointments.
All positions can be given as a contracted fixed rota position or on a casual basis if preferred.
