What is a REST Hub?
REST stands for Recover, Eat, Support, Talk.
REST Thetford is looking for a friendly, motivated Café Assistant to join our vibrant on-site team.
At REST Hub Thetford, we provide a warm, safe, and supportive space for people accessing mental wellbeing support. Our café is the heart of this welcoming atmosphere, serving individuals, group facilitators, volunteers, and visitors alike.
What You'll Do:
Prepare hot snacks and drinks with a smile :)
Keep the café area clean, organized, and buzzing with positive energy
Manage stock, sales records, and deliveries
Play a key role in community events, catering, and outreach efforts
What We're Looking For:
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (training will be provided)
Experience working in a café, restaurant, or catering environment
Confidence in operating a café or food service independently
Experience preparing simple hot snacks and drinks
A passion for great service and supporting community wellbeing
