ShinyMind co-design programme - WE NEED YOU!
For the last 12 months Norfolk Care Careers have been piloting the mental health and wellbeing app ShinyMind across Norfolk and Waveney. We have had great interest, received positive feedback and can see the value of this wellbeing app, and feel this is the time to create a specific Adult Social Care version.
We're excited to invite you to be part of an important co-design programme to create a Adult Social Care Edition of the ShinyMind app - a resource built with and for the adult social care workforce across Norfolk and Waveney.
The existing ShinyMind Nursing Version, originally designed for nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers, has already delivered significant impact across the NHS. Now, we have an exciting opportunity to build on that success and shape a version that truly reflects the roles, experiences, and identities of those working in adult social care.
Why get involved?
Make your voice count - help define "what matters to us" as adult social care professionals.
Support emotional wellbeing and resilience - co-design tools and exercises that prevent burnout and boost confidence.
Collaborate with peers and experts - work alongside ShinyMind and others in adult social care to create something real and impactful.
Tailor the app to your world - ensure it reflects your needs, language, and the realities of care work.
Help improve recruitment, retention and quality of care - your input can shape better outcomes for staff and service users alike.
This is your opportunity to co-create a powerful wellbeing tool designed to support your role, your mental health, and your team.
What's the time commitment?
We estimate your involvement will take around 5-6 hours between July and October 2025, with opportunities to contribute in ways that suit your availability.
This includes:
- Two online stakeholder sessions (Microsoft Teams)
- Tuesday 15th July 2025, 10:30am-12:30pm
- Tuesday 29th July 2025, 10:30am-12:00pm
- Feedback by email on the draft editions in September and October 2025
Whether you can attend the sessions, share feedback via email, or both - every contribution is valuable.
Together, we can develop a resource that feels relatable, trusted, and truly supports the incredible work you do every day.
