Personal assistant required for a Lady in Gooderstone at the weekends. £15.00ph

Job description:
I am a 47-year-old lady living with multiple chronic illnesses, looking to recruit a personal assistant to help me with some practical aspects of life to make it more manageable.

The nature of this job would consist of supporting me with my personal care when required, food preparation, all domestic tasks around the home, food shopping, taking my dog for a walk or out for a wee, and other tasks as necessary.

The ideal candidate would have a full UK driving licence and their own vehicle.

A quiet and kind nature would be desirable as I get mentally and physically tired quickly, and you would need to be able to use your own initiative and be proactive as I need to be left to rest regularly.

Having similar interests in gardening (e.g., pot plants), arts and crafts, and being an animal lover would be an advantage.

Summary terms and conditions:
· The rate of pay for this position is £15.00 per hour.
Hours and times of work: variable hours, up to 10 hours per week. Exact days and times are open to discussion at interview.
· Job share will be considered for this role.
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

You will be required undertake training in:
• Manual Handling
• Handling of hazardous chemicals
• Food Handling

The post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
