PA needed for one day a week for a lady in NR6 area, £15 p/h

I have Functional Neurological Disorder, complex PTSD and Tourettes, therefore I am seeking a friendly and flexible Personal Assistant who understands my needs and will be willing to build trust to support with everyday tasks around my home including help organising appointments, assisting with meal preparation and prompting to take regular medication. A major part of the PA role will be to support me to enjoy social activities, particularly being outdoors to prevent social isolation. I enjoy going out walking and keep fit with a PT visiting me at home and I also attend therapy sessions. I have a pet cat.

Location: Norwich, NR6

Main Duties:

Helping me to leave the house

Will need to make phone calls and appointments on my behalf

Will need to do occasional Batch Cooking

Help with Light Housework

Spending time with me doing outdoor activities

These duties may vary from day to day.

Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.

Summary terms and conditions

· The rate of pay for this position is £15 per hour

· You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.

· Hours and times of work: 8am till 3.30pm either on Tuesday or Thursday, and to cover my other PA, when they have annual leave

The post is subject to the following:

· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.

· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.

· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
