PA needed in NR29 area for Mum and Child on Fridays, 6 hours p/w @£15.00 per hour

Job Purpose

I am a mother to a 7-year-old daughter and I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support me on Fridays and ad-hoc cover. I suffer with chronic fatigue syndrome and depression. This makes me struggle physically with day to day living tasks as they require high energy input. I need support with maintaining home, meal preparation, laundry and tidying. In relation to my daughter, I would like you to be able to support with playtime to allow me rest. Ideally, I am looking for someone who has an experience with managing challenging behaviours in children and can prevent escalation. You will need to be able to work during the school holidays as well as term time.

Location: Martham, Norfolk

Main Duties:

Support with washing and dressing

Household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, general tidying up

Meal preparation and cooking

Support when out and about

Playtime with daughter

These duties may vary from day to day.
Any other reasonable duties that may be necessary.

Summary terms and conditions

· The rate of pay for this position is £15 per hour.

· You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.

· Hours and times of work: 6 hours per week in total to be worked on a Friday, and ad-hoc cover duties. Additional hours to cover sickness and holiday throughout the year as required. Hours to be negotiated with Employer.

The post is subject to the following:

· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.

· Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.

· Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 6 months.
