NorseCare manage a growing number of care homes and schemes within Norwich, Norfolk and the surrounding areas. We value delivering personally focused care support to meet the needs of a variety of individuals, including specialist dementia units across the region.

Sydney House is our residential care home in the village of Stalham, providing short-term and full-time support to our residents. A key part of the service we deliver is ensuring the environment is fun and engaging for everyone, and to support this we are recruiting a Wellbeing Coordinator to the home on a permanent basis working 18 hours per week.

This role forms a key part of catering for our residents social needs, and you will have the opportunity to create and run different activities throughout the week that meet the needs of everyone. You will be part of a fantastic care team who love to get involved with activities and be supported by colleagues who are keen to promote a fun and healthy environment for our tenants.

Our Successful Candidate:

Your ability to build relationships quickly with our residents will be key, as you will be tailoring activities to their needs and abilities alongside;

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Being supportive and caring, ensuring you are providing exemplary service to our residents/tenants
  • Willingness to go that extra mile
  • Completion of The Care Certificate is desirable but not essential
