Salary: £21,000 per annum, pro rata rising to £21,675 per annum, pro rata, after successful completion of the probation period.

22.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 to 17:00)

Waves is a 12-month recovery programme designed to provide understanding, tools, learning, support and connections for people managing a diagnosis or traits of a borderline or emotionally unstable personality disorder. We focus heavily on identity outside of diagnosis, personal responsibility, aims, and creating meaning and empowerment whilst instilling hope into each individual. These essential components help to promote positive change and reflective self-awareness throughout. It runs every Monday and Tuesday from 10-4 at a beautiful city centre location.
Morning sessions are dedicated to psychoeducation and skills based learning, whilst the afternoons offer a variety of social and creative based activities providing opportunities to put learning into practice and help build connections with others.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join our team to assist in the running and delivery of our service. We require an individual with experience of trauma informed approaches to join the small team in facilitating sessions and assisting setting up the programme of events.  The successful applicant will also be required to support group attendees with their mental and physical well-being, and provide crisis interventions if required.  You will also be required to be proficient with MS applications for admin purposes.To apply for the role please complete an application form stating why you are passionate about applying for this opportunity, including the reasons why you think you would be suitable and the experience and abilities you have that fit the job description and person specification.
