Salary:  £31,516 per annum, rising to £33,092 per annum following a successful probation period. Maximum job rate (which is performance related) is £34,667 per annum.

Hours:  37 hours per week

Location:  Norwich based with Norfolk wide responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Break organisation in a new and developing role. You will be part of team who are working directly alongside our residential homes. You will be able to build relationships with dedicated staff teams who are working directly with looked after children on a day to day basis. You will facilitate and support teams around the young people to reflect and consider the needs of each young person through a trauma informed lens and offer direct therapeutic frameworks and practice support.

You will need a warm and attuned approach and be able to think independently but also joining teams to facilitate reflective spaces and understand our young people.  Break has a continued aspirations to provide the best level of care possible to our young people and staff teams.

Break Therapeutic Services is a multi-disciplinary therapeutic team (arts therapists, psychotherapists, psychotherapeutic counsellors, social workers) offering attachment and trauma based support to children and young people across Norfolk, providing both externally commissioned work and a range of services within Break.

We are seeking a Specialist Therapeutic Practitioner to be part of the Break Therapeutic Services team but predominantly work with a smaller homes based team focused on developing therapeutic practice within our residential services. This is a full time post of 37 hours per week.

We welcome applications from candidates with training and experience in the arts therapies, child psychotherapy and counselling, psychology, therapeutic parenting or other relevant trainings.
