A fantastic opportunity for a fulfilling and flexible career that can really make a difference to people’s lives!
Affinity Trust is a charity dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities, we are recruiting for a support worker to help people to live as independently as they wish.
We are looking for patient and dedicated support workers to join our team at our supported living service at Great Ellingham, working four waking nights a week.
The people we support have varying levels of support needs. We support people who have a learning disability, who may also be on the autism spectrum, have physical disabilities, complex needs, associated health needs such as epilepsy or mental health needs or dementia.
Because of the rural location, you will need to be a driver with a manual driving licence.
As a support worker you will need to be patient, confident, and pro-active with a good sense of humour. You will empathise with the difficulties that these individuals present. Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not essential as we are committed to providing all the necessary training required.
In return we offer a rewarding career where no 2 days are the same!
