Our Team here at The Lifeways Group in Wroxham are looking to recruit full and part time and bank (casual) support workers in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.
We require dedicated Individuals to work in our residential services supporting adults (18 and over) with learning disabilities, autism and autistic spectrum disorders, complex needs, mental health issues and challenging behaviours in all aspects of their daily lives.
The location of this service is stunning with an amazing team who truly support and encourage both staff and service users to be the best version of themselves.
We don’t require experience as full training is provided but we are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals who want to make a difference to the lives of the people we support, skills needed include:
Customer service skills, a willingness to learn, understanding of the needs of others, patience and most importantly you must want to assist the people we support by enabling them to live as independently as possible.

Working within the principles or person centred support, enabling development and inclusion in their everyday lives within their home and wider community.
Each service user has their own self-contained room within the service buildings.
There is also a communal lounge area to meet up and chat with others in as well as a garden to relax in the summer months and do a spot of gardening where preferred.
You will support service users with all sorts of different activities including swimming, shopping, going for a coffee, going to the cinema, visiting zoos, clubs etc., so your work will be varied from day to day
You will also be expected to support the service user with general household chores such as cooking and laundry and housework such as hoovering and dusting and, in some cases, personal care (Assisting with bathing, toileting and feeding).
Full time 40 Hours per week
Part-time 14 – 30 Hour per week
Sessional/Bank hours also available (Flexible working)
Working hours are on a shift pattern rota basis including some weekend working
Mandatory vaccines in care homes have now been approved and will become a requirement from 11th November 2021. Applicants who have not had either vaccine will need to have their 1st one by 16th September in order to be fully vaccinated by this date
