Due to an increase in funding and additional hours we have various Support Worker jobs to join our team within the day service and Out of Hours Club.

We are looking for committed, enthusiastic, passionate  friendly, patient individuals, with good communication skills, who are able to build positive relationships with our Hamlet Users.

These posts will suit a variety of people.

Role Details

Hours: 

Post 1: Full time, 36 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
Post 2: Part time, 26 Saturdays per year (9.30am – 4pm)
Post 3: 21 hours per week, across 3 days.
Post 4: Casual (Bank) Support Worker

Rate of pay: 
Annual Salary for full time 36 hours. £17,784.
Hourly rate – £9.50

Purpose and Scope of the Role

The Hamlet Adult Services provide support to young adults with disabilities and complex health needs through a wide range of individual and group activities at Ella Road and within the community. The post holder will work on a one-to-one basis with Hamlet Users and their specific needs / activities as well as supporting in a group setting. We aim to ensure that Hamlet Users, whatever their ability, can take as full a part as possible in their chosen activities.

Supporting our Safeguarding Commitment:

You will be required to hold a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and have supplied at least 2 satisfactory references before starting work. Any conviction or adverse report relating to care, children, vulnerable adults, or dishonesty would make a candidate unsuitable for this role.
