We are recruiting for a brand-new team for our new bespoke Residential Service on the outskirts of Norwich designed to meet the needs of young people and adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.
We are a residential care service in North Norfolk providing a range of care and support for adult service users who have varying Learning Disabilities, conditions and complex needs. We’re seeking to recruit Full Time Support Workers for Days and Nights with the right values, a caring attitude and to work in a person-centred way to support and enable individuals to become integral members of the community and to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Experience is required in this field and full training will be provided. We will support you in all areas and continue your professional development by providing you with any additional training as and when required. Support, guidance and mentoring will be provided to maintain a positive environment and develop a high-quality service for individuals and professional development for staff within the workplace.
As a Support Worker, you will make a real difference to peoples’ lives as you improve their daily living skills. Passionate about people, you will enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own life and career too, as you gain the experience and training you need to progress with us.
A full driving licence is preferred but not essential.
The successful candidate will be required to work across a weekly rota including alternate weekends with scope for flexibility and opportunities for overtime.

Roles and Responsibility
Where no two days are the same, your duties will include:
Promoting the independence of people we support
Supporting a range of daily activities including cleaning and cooking, days out or social leave
Arranging activities in the home and in the local community
Developing residents’ life skills and personal interests
Helping residents stay safe and healthy
Assisting with personal care needs
Supporting with medication
Ensuring record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times
