We are pleased to announce an exciting, though challenging opportunity to join one of our existing disability children’s homes based in Long Stratton, Norfolk where the ideal candidate will join an established team providing residential care for young people. The home cares for young people where staff provide them with stability through a nurturing, thoughtful and therapeutic approach.


The ideal candidate:
We need you to be a motivational leader, who sees the strengths in others and works creatively to support the team around the young person. Are you able to reflect on what has gone well, what could improve and creating solutions together with others? Do you like being hands on and providing support directly to young people? Are you patient and resilient? Are you keen to learn and develop your skills?  If this sounds like you then we would love you to apply for this exciting role.


An extensive training package will be provided if successful.


Essential Information:


Hours: 38 hours per week


Salary: £22,191 – £23,359 per annum, pro rata depending on experience and qualifications. PLUS up to £4,000 additional earnings from sleep in allowance PLUS the opportunity to do overtime. Plus a level 3 diploma, if you don’t already hold one.

Interviews:  These have been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 12th May and Thursday, 13th May 2021.


Interviews: The first interview which will be a Safe Care/ Warner style interview, will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. If successful after the first interview, candidates will then be expected to attend a formal interview, scheduled to take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.
