Relief Support Worker – King’s Lynn, Norfolk

 

We currently have an amazing opportunity open for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us as a Relief Support Worker at our Residential Children’s Home in King’s Lynn, Norfolk.

 

We need people with a caring and calm approach to help support and nurture the children living with the children’s home. You need to be warm, considerate, and resilient as sometimes the children can present complex emotional and behavioural needs.

The ability to work on a rota basis will be essential as the role will include evening and weekend work along with sleep in’s. All shifts will be agreed in advance with the Line Manager.

 

Qualifications:

 

Candidates must have a relevant Level 3 Children and Young People’s Workforce Diploma or equivalent, or be prepared to complete one within two years of appointment (this time frame may differ if you have worked within the care industry previously and not yet completed a Level 3 relevant qualification).

Essential Information:

 

Salary: £9.50 – £9.92 per hour depending on qualifications – an additional £50.00 will be paid for each sleep in

 

HoursAs and when required

Interviews: Tuesday 16th March 2021 & Thursday, 18th March 2021.

 

The first interview which will be a Safe Care/Warner style interview, will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams. If successful after the first interview, candidates will then attend a formal interview.  This will also be held virtually.
