‘Care for others. Make a difference’

There are various vacancies of 27.75 and 30 hours per week.  These are in our relief team which covers all areas of West Norfolk.  You will have a set rota pattern and guaranteed hours and will work across different areas.

As a Reablement Support Worker you will be assisting people with their daily living activities such as personal care, meal/drink preparation and medication with the aim of helping them back to independence with these activities.

Norfolk First Support delivers services to adults in Norfolk in their own homes for up to 6 weeks, assisting them to regain skills they may have lost following an illness or hospital admission. The aim is to enable them to regain their independence as much as possible while also reviewing their ongoing care needs.

Both experienced social care workers and those new to care are welcomed to apply. Full training will be provided.

Benefits of working for Norfolk First Response: Competitive annual leave per year, competitive pension scheme, guaranteed salaried hours, regular working pattern, paid mileage, paid induction, telephone provided and Norfolk Rewards Scheme.

Covid-19 vaccination requirements

The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (Coronavirus) Regulations from 11 November 2021 means people working in or professionally visiting CQC-registered care homes will need to be fully COVID-19 vaccinated unless they have a medical exemption.  As this role involves visiting registered care homes, you will be legally required to show proof of full covid-19 vaccination or medical exemption and will need to provide evidence of this during the onboarding process
