I am in my early 50’s and am awaiting Stem Cell Surgery for cancer, which means I am currently experiencing pain and fatigue and have limited mobility (and will potentially need increased care after my operation). I have three children, 11, 13, and 15 who are a great help around the home, but I need a Personal Assistant to support me with some domestic tasks, personal care, and getting out to do shopping and attend appointments. Our family also includes three cats and a Cocker Spaniel, so an animal lover is essential, and my P.A. needs to be a driver with their own car.

·       Driver, own car with appropriate business insurance

·       Reliable

·       Able to work flexibly

·       The rate of pay for this position is £9.37 per hour

·       You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.

·       Hours and times of work:  Up to 21 hours per week, at flexible times but usually at least 2 hours in the afternoons. Hours may be extended for additional post-surgery support if this becomes necessary.

·       A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.

·       Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.

·       Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
