Job Purpose: I’m bedbound with MS and would like your support with all aspects of my personal care.
 
Location: Ormesby St Margaret
Details: 
  • All aspects of my personal care including toileting, showering and dressing. you will be working with another colleague at all times as I require double up support. All transfers will be made using ceiling track hoists, and training will be provided on the specific equipment.
  • Supporting me with simple physio exercises as I have paralysis in both legs.

Essential
  • Female due to the personal care aspects of the role.
  • Experience of care work with training in moving and handling.
  • Easy-going personality with a good sense of humour.
Summary terms and conditions
  • The rate of pay for this position is £9.37 per hour.
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
  • Hours and times of work: 22 hours per week to be shared between 3 carers with 2 on shift each day. Hours required are 9:30-11am 5 days a week and 9:30-11:15am 2 days per week to allow extra time for showering. Please state your availability on your application
  • The annual holiday entitlement will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
