I am a disabled woman in my 30’s. I require help around the house and in accessing the community. I am offering approximately 15 hours per week of assistance over three days a week including Sunday’s 9am to 2pm. Ideally you would be able to work on occasion to cover for sickness and holiday in the daytime or evening. There may be more hours offered in the near future. Exact hours to be confirmed prior to employment.

I am looking for someone that has the following qualities: friendly, positive, a good communicator, encouraging and patient. Some knowledge or experience of mental health would be an advantage. Some of the jobs include preparing or heating meals, some light house chores, making sure medication is taken and the appropriate clothing is on for bed.

May include other duties, to be discussed

Proposed start date is Sunday 19th September 21, interviews to be conducted between 23rd August 21 and 10th September 21.

Summary terms and conditions
  • The rate of pay for this position is £10.00 per hour
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
  • Hours and times of work: 15hrs per week, flexible/negotiable, but to include Sundays 9am to 2pm
The post is subject to the following:
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
