Energetic young man requires a Personal Assistant to keep him safe, occupied and happy and provide support with all aspects of care.
Experience with Learning Disabilities and/or seizures desired but not essential, training will be given.
Up to 12 hours per week will be available (flexible contract)
£11 per hour
About the Job
I am an energetic young man, I am non-verbal with severe Learning Disability and epilepsy (3-6 seizures per week). I love my home and especially my garden. You will need to keep me safe, occupied and happy, and recognise when I need quiet time. You will be responsible to my parents, and report to my mother as your employer, you must be happy to act upon requests and treat the working relationship as confidential, as well as any other personal information you may encounter while working within the family home.

Able to adapt quickly to changes in mood
Able to keep up with him when needed
Experience of learning difficulties
Some knowledge of epilepsy
Some knowledge of positive behaviour management
