The Role of Operations Lead:

The Operations Lead for Wellbeing (Social) is a key management role and is responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of a program of social interventions specified in the Wellbeing Service specification across Great Yarmouth, Waveney and Norfolk.

The role will champion the Mind ethos within the service and work continuously to improve communication between the partner organisations.

This role is accountable for social interventions, will actively monitor performance, quality and provide an oversight and guidance for on-going development of the social interventions.

The role will ensure the effective management of day-to-day operational issues arising within the delivery of social interventions and ensure the integration between social and clinical interventions across the service whilst overseeing that the service delivery is in line with the social recovery ethos, model recovery and trauma informed practices.

 

What we are looking for:

  • Education to degree level and ongoing personal development at senior management level
  • Recognised post-graduate management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of managing health and social care integrated services
  • Minimum 4-5 years experience in managing quality/ clinical audit/ clinical governance/ risk management issues
  • Extensive experience of managing services at a senior level
  • Working in mental health
  • Experience of leading and supervising a team of multi-disciplinary workers
  • Knowledge of development in mental health development and transitions
  • Knowledge of professional and legal issues relevant to working with people with mental health issues
  • Knowledge of, and ability to operate within, professional and ethical guidelines
  • Knowledge of, and ability to work with, issues of confidentiality, consent and capacity
  • Ability to work within and across agencies
  • Ability to work with difference (‘cultural competence’)
  • Knowledge of models of interventions and their employment in practice
  • Ability to make use of measures, including monitoring or outcome
  • Ability to make use of supervision
  • Ability to co-ordinate casework across different agencies and/or individuals
  • An ability to draw on knowledge of key organisational issues for the effective delivery of emotional health promotion programmes in schools
