Part Time: 21 Hours per Week, Evening 6:00 pm to 00:00 am (midnight) This will be on a rota basis which is to be determined. The service will run 365 days per year.

Salary: £24,350 (pro rata)

The role: 

We are looking for experienced Team Leaders to provide leadership in our Evening Sanctuary based in Attleborough. You will be leading on regular support of our employees and helping to provide consistent and professional operation of the service. You will need to demonstrate the ability to supervise and lead colleagues in a close team environment, as well as collaborate effectively with external agencies and community teams.

As our Team Lead, you will also be providing one to one emotional support to those in need of support and in crisis. You will be helping people to regain and refocus on their support networks while providing a safe place to regroup and improve social isolation and helping people to achieve their ambitions and potential.

You will be working in the Community Hub, which is an exciting new service located in Attleborough, at the heart of the community and will operate a safe and friendly environment.  It will be psychologically informed – in line with Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) principles. This service will offer a wide range of services to empower people to stay well in their community and at home.

Among Other Responsibilities You Will: 

• Ensure the evening service has a staff team that is well-supported, clear in its values, responsive and well-organised.  
• Support Intensive Recovery Workers in carrying out their duties, including using prior experience to assist with any difficult or complex decision making (liaising with the service manager or on-call manager where needed).  
• Support individuals in crisis (presenting in a range of ways, including low mood, depressed, anxious, mania, self-harming, and experiencing suicidal thoughts) to develop their own safety plan and coping strategies to navigate the crisis situation. 
• Quickly establish appropriate, meaningful relationships with people referred to the Hub, supporting them to move out of immediate crisis. 
• Work closely with other Hub services where appropriate, such as the daytime recovery service and the telephone support line.

• Experience of building partnerships with other organisations.

This service operates 7 day per week, 365 days per year, and there will be a requirement to work flexibly during the week and at weekends.
