Mental Health Support Worker

First Choice Home Care is looking for a Mental Health Support Worker that is passionate, caring, dedicated individual wanting to build a rewarding career in the care sector to provide care for vulnerable adults in their own homes.

Position: Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Norwich and surrounding areas, Norfolk
Pay Rate: from £11 up to £13.50.
Job Type: Part time or Full time, Permanent
Shifts: Mornings, evenings, and weekends work available.

The role

As Mental Health Support Worker, you will have assist vulnerable adults with:

  • Personal care that includes – bath, washing, dressing and toileting.
  • Administer medication.
  • Assistance with Meal preparation.
  • Supporting to access resources and the community to support an independent life.
  • Supporting the service user to meet independence focused outcomes over a 6-week period (recovery support).

About you

As Mental Health Support Worker, you will have to:

  • Have a valid Driving Licence and own a car (due to the nature of the job),
  • Have experience in Health Care sector is desirable but not essential as training will be provided for the suitable candidate.
  • To be a Caring and, Trustworthy and, Professional and, Friendly person and to able to work well with others with dignity and respect.
  • To be willing to work early morning, evenings, and every other weekend.
