The Role

Together is an amazing place to work. And it’s not just because we’re one of the UK’s oldest and most respected mental health charities. It’s because we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do – supporting and enabling them to take control of their lives and make a positive contribution to the community.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Locality Manager to oversee the NIHCSS Supported Living scheme and community support services in Central Norwich, a dynamic service providing support to individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs.

Able to manage a varied and demanding workload, you will use your prior experience of managing accommodation and mental health services to lead a staff team to provide the highest quality support. You will apply current relevant legislation to the running of the service and supporting people to achieve their goals and to live as independently as possible in their local community.

Building on an already solid foundation of partnership working, you will use your stakeholder management skills to foster strong networks, ensuring the service is connected to organisations and agencies providing support in Norfolk.

You will promote a culture of inclusion and act as a champion for service user leadership, encouraging those using the service to direct their own support and contribute to shaping the way the service is run.

Outcomes-focused and experienced in managing resources and budgets, you will ensure the efficient running of the service in line with Together’s ethos and policies.
