Experience of nursing or care is essential as you will have sole responsibility for the client. You need to be friendly but professional, able to maintain a conversation and able to cook good homely and nutrituous food.
Our work can be anywhere in East Anglia. That is Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. Work rotas for live in care vary depending on the needs and abilities of the client, but can involve being away from home for 2 to 3 weeks at a time. Our live-in care workers are directly employed by Purely Care, this is not self employed work.
We provide a 5 day initial training course at our office in Norwich, and regular update training free of charge. Accommodation is available for training. Excellent professional references and a new or updated DBS is required.
We are a small friendly team. The office staff regularly visit each client and know each carer. Out of hours support is provided by our own staff, not a call centre.
If you would like to know more about Purely Care please look at our web site or read our CQC report. One of our carers said “The supervisors were very supportive when I started work which really helped in building up my confidence.”
What is live in care?
With 24/7 live in care, the live in care worker lives with the client for periods of 2-3 weeks at a time, providing flexible support as and when required by the client.
