Thornage Hall Independent Living is an independent charity located in the idyllic countryside of North Norfolk, providing supported living, learning and working for adults with learning disabilities. Our ethos is to provide a meaningful residential and working environment for its adult members, some of whom have learning disabilities.
Salary: £24,000 – 28,000 depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.
You will lead and co-ordinate activities in the Houses and support adults with learning disabilities. You will take a pro-active approach to creating an environment that promotes person centred planning and independent living, ensure tenants’ physical, spiritual, cultural and emotional needs are met and they are supported to have choice and control in their daily lives. This job will give you a chance to manage a small team of staff; carrying out appraisals and supervisions, etc. Then with the tenants, you will be developing a relationship with them, ensuring that they have the life skills they need.
You must have a Level 3 qualification in health/social care and a full, clean driving licence.
