Full time – 40 hours per week.

Pay up to £29,120.00 per year depending on experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources and possess excellent communication and administrative skills. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our HR department and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions.

Taylor Care is a family run care company, based in Fakenham Norfolk.

We are recruiting for an HR personnel to join our Head Office in Fakenham. Main duties will include:

  • Assisting HR with the process of recruitment, including vetting candidates, assisting with interviews and issuing employment contracts.
  • Uploading records to our system
  • Assisting with induction process.
  • Supporting internal and external inquiries and requests related to the HR department eg Norfolk County Council and CQC
  • Ensuring staff training is up to date
  • Supporting HR-related training programs, workshops and seminars
  • Minuting formal and informal meetings
  • Entering employee data into computer database
  • Coordinating logistics for new hire orientations
  • Writing and submitting reports on general HR activities
  • Assisting with staff development, performance improvement plans and quarterly reviews
  • Sickness/ absence reporting, completing return to work meetings
  • Overseeing HR events and meetings and coordinating management-employee communications
  • Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency
  • Assist with the application of HR policies and procedures.

Essential skills and experience:

  • Previous experience with supporting HR processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office applications

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Good knowledge of employment law
  • Experience working in the care sector
  • CIPD level 3 or equivalent qualifications
