Homecare Assistant- Norwich and Brooke.

Salary: £13-20-£15.50 per hour

Full-time and part-time positions available: 16-25 hours and 25-37.5

Nightingale Home Care are a leading home care provider delivering first class home care services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Due to exciting developments and expansion within the organisation we are actively looking for dedicated and passionate people to join our thriving friendly supportive Norwich and Brooke team as community care assistants.

You will be based in Norwich and Brooke covering postal codes NR1-NR5. The role is full time or part time , 07.00-14.30 and or 15.50-22.00 . We do ask for you to work at least one evening a week and every other weekend however, can be flexible depending on availability.

Car Drivers or those with own transport is preferred due to the nature of the role.

You will be enrolled in Nightingale’s training academy based at our office in Norwich where you will complete” Skills for Care Training Programme” after which you have the opportunity to develop your career further on our Gold Standard tiering programme.

THE ROLE

This rewarding role involves visiting clients in their own homes, supporting with daily tasks such

· Supporting & assisting with personal care requirements

· Providing companionship, being supportive & friendly

· Observing & reporting any changes in the health of the client

· Preparing light meals

· Light domestic duties

· Prompting & administering medication

· Social engagement

· Providing support with hobbies & social activities

· Support with shopping & appointments

· General tasks around the home
