An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Care Manager to join our growing company This role will be responsible for the delivery of care to clients of Allicare and in particular its statutory responsibilities under Health & Social Care Legislation.

Allicare is an established Home Care Agency regulated by the CQC and authorised by Norfolk County Council for the provision of personal care support services in the home. The demand for our home care and Live-In Care services across the area is increasing and as such we are looking for an experienced Care Manager, so we can continue to expand and deliver high quality person centred care, through our local well supported care teams.

The Role

The Care Manager (CM) reports to the Register Manager (RM) and is responsible for supporting the operations of AlliCare and in particular its statutory responsibilities under Health & Social Care Regulation.

AlliCare’s objective is to support Clients and their families to sustain and often improve their independence so as to remain living within their own homes and to manage their own affairs with the support provided. It is the CM’s responsibility through the Care Teams to enable this to happen in a safe and proper way.

  • To support the delivery of domiciliary personal care and support services to clients that meet the agreed standards as set out in AlliCare policies and procedures.
  • To support the (RM) and deputise for them during their absence, in liaison with other senior members of AlliCare’s management team.
  • Assist the (RM) to formulate and implement the rotas and staff hours.
  • To support the creation of a positive culture of continuous improvement, particularly in respect of learning & development with a focus on Quality outputs.
  • To ensure that all Client records are kept up to date and continually reviewed for compliance.
  • To carry client Assessments, creating an individual package of care that can be delivered by the care teams.
  • To work in a cost –effective manner.
  • Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the care standards and the care services provision. Systematically solve day to day problematical issues which arise.
  • The ability to cover rounds across the breadth of Allicare coverage in Norfolk.

Qualification Requirements

Managers are required by the regulations to have the “necessary” qualifications, skills and experience to carry out the regulated activity. The relevant qualification for this position is the Level 4 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care. Candidates should have of be working towards the Level 4 or Level 5 and have relevant experience within this sector.
