We are looking for an Employment Advisor to join our team. As an Employment Advisor, you will be working closely with people with common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression and their clinicians. You will support clients to gain, return to or retain employment using goal-focused and person-centered support. The role will involve working directly with Jobcentre Plus, employers and other support services to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities.  The successful candidate will be highly organized and used to working with/be drawn to collaborative approaches.

This is an interesting role that is free from stringent targets and offers a lot of freedom/flexibility working locations and hours. This is a ‘hybrid’ role, which can be carried out from home, outreach locations, Wellbeing service Hubs, Video and telephone. This alongside service hours of 8am-8pm weekdays that can be worked within. An individual who can work creatively and autonomously is sought!

The position is within the provision of the Norfolk and Waveney Wellbeing Service, through Norfolk and Waveney Mind and the partnership with the Norfolk & Suffolk Mental Health Foundation Trust delivering.  The Wellbeing Service is commissioned by the CCG to help people with mild to moderate mental health problems such as anxiety and depression. The successful applicant will be committed to delivering excellent support to those accessing the Wellbeing Service and be able to work within a team, while being responsive and adaptive to change.

While this is currently fixed-term position, there is a strong likelihood of extension for multiple years (to be confirmed in coming weeks, potentially prior to interview) in accordance with national funding.

A full driving license and access to own transport is essential for this role.
