We are currently looking to recruit a passionate Deputy Home Care Manager to join our friendly staff team. The position will involve working along side the managers, assisting with the day to day running of the service.
Caring first is a small but rapidly growing independent home care provider, specialising in high quality care for older people within their own homes.
You should have a relevant Health and Social Care qualification (NVQ 3 or above) with experience in a leadership role in care setting.
You will be contracted to work 25 hours per week with additional “on call” and direct care hours as required.
The role will include:-
Responsibility for the safe delivery of the service, in line with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures
Manage the effective recruitment, induction and training for new and existing members of the team
Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and ensure effective running of the company
Identify opportunities for growth and development, implementing and supporting change
Assess care needs of new service users, maintain ongoing assessment and review of all other service users and complete risk assessments in line with the company’s polices and procedures
Undertake direct domiciliary care and hold the on call service when required

Knowledge of industry IT systems

Knowledge of CQC and regulations
Full driving licence
