Title: Deputy Manager

Contract: 40 hours per week, the times will vary depending on the needs of the home.

Salary: £22,000 – £24,000

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team at Clarence House in the beautiful seaside town of Mundesley. We are looking for a Deputy Manager.

Clarence House is a registered Residential Home in specialising in Dementia Care. We are a 41-bed home, all with varying clinical, physical needs.

Here at Clarence House we provide support for older people, we provide more than just somewhere to live; we provide a caring home environment with activities and support.

The Deputy Home Manager for Clarence House, will be responsible for assisting with day to day running of the home alongside the Registered Manager.

Dealing with emergency or crisis situations, making informed decisions using your initiative and reporting any incidences to the Managers which you deem necessary.

You will be responsible for allocating shifts in the event of absences and you will be required to cover any shifts that you are unable to fill. It is essential that you are able to remain calm and professional, as well as have the ability to ensure that company standards and legislative requirements are upheld at all times. Manage a busy workload, effectively multi-tasking and prioritising when required.

Applications are invited from individuals with strong organisational and time management skills; the ability to communicate effectively and coherently, both verbally and in writing; the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and a sound understanding of good care principles.

It is desirable that applicants have experience of service provision in the care profession and/or experience of supported housing within the care profession.
