Job Title: Domestic Abuse Case Worker – 12 Months Fixed Term

(TSA house, Norwich, North Norfolk and West Norfolk Safehouses) 

Organisation: Leeway Domestic Abuse Services

Hours: 30 per week

Location: Norwich, North Norfolk, Kings Lynn & West Norfolk   

Salary: £24,028 pro rata

Job purpose:

  • To provide an effective, supportive and confidential service for women and children requiring emergency temporary safe accommodation
  • To ensure that the safe accommodation operational policies, procedures are implemented and adhered to, and that all statistical data is collated and maintained for stakeholders and funding bodies
  • To support the Temporary Safe Accommodation Co-ordinator in developing the service to deliver the best possible outcomes for safe accommodation residents

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or two years’ experience of working with women and children who are experiencing domestic violence, for a statutory or voluntary agency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience of safeguarding vulnerable adults and children
  • Ability to work on a rota over 7 days including evening work and take part in the out of hours on call system
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office is essential
  • Full Driving Licence, business insurance and use of a car to travel are essential

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in working in a residential setting
