Complex Care Assistant – Part Time Nights

Better Healthcare Specialist Team works with adults and young children with long term clinical needs within the community. Our specialist team supports clients with Acquired brain Injury (ABI), Ventilated conditions, Spinal cord injury, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Mental health and many other complexities.

We are recruiting for a caring, compassionate and reliable individual to provide support to a client who lives in his own home. Our client lives in Alburgh and requires 24 hour care, he has T3 paraplegia and requires support with:

• Personal Care
• Moving and Positioning
• Social Support
• Nutrition and Medication via PEG feed
• Tracheostomy Care
• Suctioning
• Catheter Care

For this role you will need at least 6 months experience in a health and social care setting, experience providing support with complex and clinical care needs is preferred.

Successful candidates would be working night shifts 18:30pm – 07:00am, covering a maximum of 3 nights per week: Wednesdays and Alternate weekends
