Job Description

At Home Support Matters, we know that enabling people to continue living in the place they feel most comfortable, can help them enjoy healthier, more fulfilling lives.

The role of an on call Care Worker is to provide a high level of care to individuals living in the community when their regular Care Worker is unable to attend for a variety of reasons. This on call position will require an experienced Care Worker to provide short notice care to individuals living in Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft depending on where the need arises. Responsibilities will include personal care, support with medication and meal preparation.

The retainer shift pattern will be 7am-8pm, alternate weekends at a rate of £75 per weekend retainer payment, and any additional work undertaken will be paid at an hourly rate. Additional domiciliary hours would be available if required during weekdays.

Essential Skills

  • Care experience essential
