I am a 16 year old boy with Asperger’s, meaning I have social/communication difficulty and can struggle to make appropriate friendships, becoming socially anxious and experiencing low moods. I would like a buddy, who will support me to enjoy activities. I like Gaming, going out for walks, going for coffee and exploring new places and would like someone like-minded who will be friendly and patient with me, ensuring my safety while helping me to enjoy life.  May include other duties, to be discussed.

Summary terms and conditions
  • The rate of pay for this position is £9.37 per hour
  • You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role.
  • Hours and times of work: 8 hours per week, at flexible times, plus an additional 4 hours per week in school holidays.
The post is subject to the following: 
  • A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
  • Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer.
  • Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
