We are proud to care for and support people in our local community with a range of care and support needs within the comfort of their own homes. Our aims are to support people with improving and maintaining their health, wellbeing and independence.
We are Looking for:
We are looking for people who have a caring nature, patience. enjoy spending time with and helping others. Previous experience is welcome but not essential.
The Care Certificate and NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above in subjects relevant to health and social care are recognised but not essential.
A Driver’s Licence and access to own transport is preferred as it assists when travelling to the people we care for at their own homes, however this is not essential.
The Job Role:
Duties can include providing personal care such as help with washing, showering or bathing, administration of medication, assisting in daily tasks such as shopping, cooking and cleaning, support with providing companionship, accessing the community, developing Independent Living Skills, pet care, shopping, housework and cleaning.
Every day is different and our Staff make a vital contribution to the health, happiness and wellbeing of the people we care for.
The role includes working as part of small teams and lone working.
Visits can range from 30 minutes for a brief pop in to check in and provide some essential care to longer visits up to and including all day/night during which we support people with a wide range of tasks.
We are currently providing care or support to adults with a range of needs, these include:
Physical Disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Acquired Brain Injury, Sensory Needs, Mental Health and Wellbeing needs, Alzheimer’s and Dementia, Health Conditions Related to Old Age, support with Independent living skills, companionship for those feeling lonely or isolated.
