Healthcare homes have 35 Residential and nursing homes spread across East Anglia and the South of the country. The business was launched in 2005 with the main objective to ensure residents receive the highest possible standard of care; where dignity is respected, talents and interests are encouraged and where life is lived to its fullest potential.
The Manor House is situated some two miles from North Walsham in North Walsham Wood. The Norfolk Broads and coastline are within easy reach and Norwich is a comfortable distance for trips to the theatre, shopping and concerts using the Home’s minibus. The extensive grounds offer many places for quiet enjoyment or strolls through the woodland. The Manor House encourages residents to bring their own pets and has twice won an award from The Cinnamon Trust for the most pet friendly home in the UK.
The home can accommodate up to 50 residents and provides residential and dementia care.

We are looking for like-minded people to join our Healthcare home family. People who have a caring nature, patience and a passion for providing excellence in care. You may have not worked as Care Assistant or indeed in the Healthcare industry before but have the right attitude and a big heart which is the perfect starting point, we will support you to develop your skills and knowledge.
What will the role involve?
The role of the Care Assistant is to Support our residents with their everyday needs ensuring emotional and social needs are met. Promoting independence, choice and dignity and assisting where needed with personal care activities such as washing, dressing and meal times. You will be part of daily recreational social activities within groups and one to one.
Accurate and maintenance of record keeping is essential to ensure the correct care delivery is being delivered and once you have been fully trained and inducted you will also be a mentor for new team members joining.
We have full time and part time positions available on our Day and Night shifts. Please note; these positions do include alternate weekend working.
