Welcome to Corton House, a 42 bedded care home with a mission to provide excellent loving care and support for older people. We are a not-for-profit organisation that has been operating for over 60 years, with a Christian ethos and a charitable status.
We consider ourselves a family environment with some staff being in post for 10 years plus.
Our Christian Ethos is a very important part of the home and we hold weekly worship services, a prayer group and holy communion for our residents.
We are looking for caring individuals who are passionate about giving excellent care to our residents.
The role for care assistant is worked on a 3 week rota including days, evenings and weekends It to work a mixture of evenings and day shifts, shift patterns are AM: 07.00-16.00 PM: 16.00-21.00, this includes weekend working on a rota basis.
Experience in care is not necessary as full training will be provided.
We offer fantastic pay rates with overtime rate, Pension, death in service, Counselling, Physio or Osteopathy sessions. We have parking on site, paid breaks and provide uniforms. We also have 3 mental health first aiders on site to support and guide where needed.
Part-time hours: 25-40 per week (other roles available)

Salary: £9.74-£10.20 per hour

As per the amended the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, from 11 November 2021, all care home workers and other visiting professionals will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless they have a medical exemption.
