Closing Date: 16/08/22

Bank Care and Support Assistant

Sidegate Lane Nursing Home, Ipswich

£9.98 per hour

Hours as and when required – Day or Night Shifts Available

Do you need flexibility in the days you work? Our bank roles (sometimes referred to as “relief roles” in other companies) mean that you will be able to choose from available shifts and have the benefits of a consistent workplace combined with opportunity to build positive relationships with the individuals we support. However you aren’t guaranteed shifts every week as hours are worked as and when required.

Could you support people with mental health needs and or dementia to live more independently?

Would you like to make a difference that lasts long after the end of your shift?

We are seeking an experienced and engaging Bank Care and Support Assistant to provide personal care and support to our residents at Sidegate Lane, located in a quiet area of Ipswich. Our residential nursing home is a fun, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same!

We value our team and encourage learning and progression through our comprehensive induction programme, as well as on-going training to develop new and existing skills and encourage progression. Sanctuary has their own Learning and Development Academy, who provide a wide range of training courses, open to all.

Sanctuary also offers a great employee rewards scheme, where you will be able to receive a variety of discounts from major retailers.

We have a free, spacious car park but if you don’t drive, we’re conveniently located on a bus route.

If you’re a person who celebrate differences, and strives to treat others with dignity and respect, this is a great opportunity to join our like-minded, hardworking, and resident-focused team.
