NorseCare provide quality driven care services to several homes and schemes within Norfolk and Suffolk. We strive to ensure all of our residents receive and individual, respectful and social living environment, and hold this at the forefront of all we do.

A key part of maintain the healthy environments within our homes and schemes is ensuring the emotional, physical and social wellbeing of our residents is developed, and we are currently looking for a Activities Coordinator at All Hallows in Bungay to join the team on a part-time, permanent basis working 09:30-16:30 for a total of 21 hours per week. This will involve working weekends and some evening shifts.

Your Role:

As our Activities Coordinator, you will be for implementing and improving the social activities for our residents and colleagues, ensuring the varying needs of everyone are accounted for and met. You will be creating, organising and leading a number of stimulating and energising activities for the home, encouraging participation from all residents and staff.

Where residents require more personal activities, it will be your role to engage with them to ensure everyone is accounted for in the social wellbeing of the home.

Your Experience:

We are looking for someone who predominantly shares of values and understands the importance of social wellbeing, ideally demonstrating;

  • Some experience, either within the care profession, another profession or personally, of involvement in social activities
  • Ability to manage and lead activities for small and large groups
  • Confident engaging with a variety of colleagues and residents
  • Capable of identifying differing needs of the individual
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships
