We are looking for a passionate, flexible, highly motivated, innovative and committed Acting Registered Manager at Pine Lodge, our Care Quality Commissioned respite service at Repps with Bastwick.

Salary: £27,741 – £29.577 (£14.38 – £15.33 per hour) pro rata
Contract type: Part time 22 hours per week.
This is a temporary post of 12-14 months to cover maternity leave.

As the acting Registered Manager you will be responsible for ensuring service levels are consistently excellent, and that new business is integrated into the service in accordance with those high standards, whilst also ensuring all governance monitoring, reporting and actions are completed as required, acting with integrity; value, respect and promote equality, diversity, dignity and inclusion.

This role leads and directs Team Managers, the role is responsible for ensuring service levels are consistently excellent, and that new business is integrated into the service in accordance with those high standards.

You will need to be able to drive quality to ensure registered services receive a ‘Good’ rating at minimum and nonregistered services achieve good outcomes from any audits.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience of being a leader and manager with evidence of coaching and mentoring others to achieve desired outcomes.
• Relevant social and health care experience.
• Evidence of change management and resilience building.
• Good ICT skills and competency using Microsoft Office.
• Evidence of ability to successfully communicate with a range of different audiences.
• Demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative.
• Full driving licence.
• Flexibility regarding working hours to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota (weekends and/or evenings).

Desired Skills

• Health and Social Care Level 5 Diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of Quality Assurance Frameworks for Registered and Unregistered services.
• Working knowledge of Children and Adult and Mental Health Services frameworks.
