Chevington Lodge

Chevington Lodge is registered as a Residential Home for the elderly and also specialises in care for those with dementia. It is situated in the market town of Bungay, Suffolk. Located in an idyllic setting on the south bank of the River Waveney, it enjoys wide-ranging views over open countryside. Access to Bungay is ideal, the location being within 250 metres of the town itself.

Our Victorian town house offers the perfect setting for the retired. Having undergone a major refurbishment, as well as adopting a continuous replacement programme, Chevington offers a stylish combination of modern facilities within period surroundings. We have focussed on trying to maintain a traditional, homely and familiar enviornment within the home. Accommodation is provided on the ground, first and second floors, with lift access to all levels. Most rooms have en-suite facilities.

Chevington is surrounded by a beautiful garden with views overlooking the Waveney Marshes. The home has also developed a secure sensory garden which enables residents to freely enjoy the pleasures and senses of the outdoors. A key attribute of Chevington is the space it provides for its residents. The inside of the home is divided up into four communal areas where residents are assessed according to their individual social and physical care needs. This enables Chevington to comfortably care for people with a whole range of frailty

Home Support Matters

We provide a wide range of support services for adults with learning and physical disabilities, young people in transition and the elderly, including people with dementia, in the home and in the community. We also support people with mental health problems, through our Stepping Out service.
We aim to provide highly flexible, person centred support that focuses on the needs and aspirations of the individual. Our support enables people to maintain a level of independence that is right for them and their family carers. We aim to support people to live fulfilling and active lives in the heart of their communities.
Our services include personal assistance in the home and to get out and about, supported living ranging from light touch to more intensive 24 hour support, respite short breaks and day time activities in our network of community Hubs. We believe individuals, and their carers, should be able to access a broad mix of services to create a support package that suits their personal needs and aspirations.
Norfolk Industries provides practical work based activities for adults with disabilities and manufactures bed bedding to national and international customers.
We support people across the whole of Norfolk.
