Our aim at Norfolk County Council is to ensure that everyone in Norfolk who needs care is supported in the setting they choose, to enable them in living a fulfilling life as independently as possible. We do this by working with individuals and communities. All of our work is done in partnership with the private and voluntary care sector and we are committed to integrating our services fully with the NHS.

There are many different settings where care and support can take place and many different types of care and support services. Below are some brief descriptions that demonstrate the diversity that exists within the social care and the health care sector. If you click on more you will find the details of organisations in the Norfolk and Waveney Area who are providing that type of service.

You can click on individual organisations to see an overview of the services they provide. Some organisations will have included a link to their own website which you can visit or you can visit our vacancy pages  where you can search for roles in the type of service that interests you.
